Mild Spoilers...Beware.
Will Grayson, Will Grayson is written by John Green and David Levithan and was first published in April 2010. It has gotten a 3.8/5 on Goodreads which I personally don't think does it justice at all.

This book was a pleasure to read. John Green is an excellent author and I could find no fault with Levithan either. The characters are beautifully described and as real and vivid as you and I. Their emotions spoke volumes that I sometimes couldn't even comprehend, however, I felt them.
Will Grayson is quiet and has only two rules: Shut up and don't care.
These two rules have kept him from heart break and many awkward situations throughout his life but being best friends with Tiny Cooper seems to revolve around drama and awkwardness which makes it pretty difficult for Will to avoid those two.
Tiny Cooper is as gay as the rainbow is colorful and I absolutely adored the way that he was written. He's loud and loving, funny and serious, gay and musical. He suffers from loving too soon and too much but he's got enough in his huge body to back it up and I found myself wondering what it would be like to be loved by someone like that.

Jane is possibly straight and possibly gay but since Will is unwilling to ask he only finds out after Tiny tries to set him up, which violates the first rule of shutting up.
Meanwhile the other Will Grayson is falling in love with Isaac and preparing to meet him in Chicago. It is his first boyfriend and he is super nervous. Will is also avoiding the fact that he is actually gay while fighting intense depression which I totally felt like I wanted to understand but as he said, it just isn't the same.
I adored this book and I think I finished it in record time (as I do all John Green's books) If you are a fan then you should definitely give this a read.
Thanks for reading xx
