This series is written by Odette Stone and the first book was published in 2018 with the last book being published in 2021.
These books are quite steamy and I dearly hope that my parents don't read this review (We cannot let them know that we can shapeshift.) I often read spicy books when I get a chance but they can irritate me since a lot of them don't have proper plot lines and that was not a problem with this series at all. Each book had a plot line and great characters that really kept me entertained when the spice wasn't being enacted.

The first book-Puck Me Secretly-follows the daughter of the Vancouver Wolves CEO (Rory Ashford) as she is thrown into the world of managing a hockey team and as she struggles to carve out a place for herself under her father's legacy, she obviously finds a love interest in their newest hot head player (Max). They meet before they know each other and who they will be in Vancouver and they survive a plane crash together. The spice, sneaking and hot looks that follow were really good and I struggled to keep a straight face at some points.
I rated is 4/5 on Goodreads.

The second book-Home Game-Follows the new player (Ryan) as he struggles to fit in with his team mates and make a life for himself in the new city. He meets a girl in a coffee shop who helps him with his taxes (Zoey) he then discovers that she is homeless and his good side wins out and he decides to help her. I really liked this book because it gave actual feeling to the trauma that Zoey would have felt from living on the street and being abandoned again and again which a lot of books don't do.
I rated this one 4/5 as well.

The third book-The Penalty Box-Follows Mica Petrov, the old school hockey player, who keeps getting into trouble with the media regarding partying and drinking and girls. His agent saves his career by suggesting he marry someone until the season is up so that his CEO can see that he has settled down. The problem is that he marries the one girl who can't stand him, or can she? Charlie has been crushing on Mica since she met him but once they are married he begins to notice her and with a maniac on the loose his protective instincts kick in and we get some very cute moments.
I rated this 4/5 as well.

The final book-High Risk Rookie-was a bit much for me. I only rated it 3/5 stars and I didn't really get into the story line.
It follows Mica's agent as she tries to sign the new rookie Levi. Krista has so many issues with her family and the drama that went on there really felt like too much but I can see why the author did it.
After a wild night of accidental drugging, Levi and Krista end up married which could be a deal breaker for Krista's career so she insists they keep it secret until they can quietly divorce. Levi thinks differently but doesn't protest. He was honestly so sweet in such a bad ass way.
For anyone who likes ice hockey romances, I would definitely recommend these, there is also a short novella that I rated 3/5 called Hook My Heart.
Thanks for reading xx
