This one is going to be a bit short, as reviews go, mostly because it is a mystery and I don't want to give too much away.

Where she went is a psychological thriller written by B.E Jones and published in July 2017 by Constable.

The book follows Melanie Black who used to report on murder cases on the news but now finds that she is the victim of one.

Melanie wakes up one morning wondering where she is and who the strange man is next to her, nothing new except for the fact that he doesn't seem to be able to see her.

When the man's wife walks in and kisses him before handing him a cup of tea, all while ignoring Melanie, she begins to fear that she might have to face the fact that she might be invisible...or dead.

The book is beautifully written, it is very descriptive and I really felt Melanie's frustration and anger as she tried to puzzle out her own murder. I loved the way that the women are portrayed as weak in the beginning of this book because they just seem to get stronger and stronger as the book progresses. I am a sucker for strong female leads and this book definitely gives it to us.

How much stronger could you be if you solved your own murder all while living as a ghost in a strange mans house whom you have no recollection of what so ever?

Honestly, this is one of the few mystery/thriller novels that I have ever read but I really enjoyed it and it kept me hooked from the first promising word until the last gruesome discovery.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn't particularly like thrillers but even more so to those who do.

Thanks for reading xx
