If you still haven't watched this then I feel bad for you...So no spoilers
The Kissing Booth was first released in 2018 and received a 6/10 on IMDB and a abysmal 17% on Rotten Tomatoes (They lied, I promise it's good) The movie was adapted for the screen and directed by Vince Marcello.

The film is centered around Elle Evans (Joey King) and her best friend, Lee Flynn(Joel Courtney). Elle and Lee have been friends since they were born because their mothers were best friends, who met in college. They have an elaborate list of rules that keeps their friendship from imploding in on itself but Elle is about to find out just how difficult keeping rules really are.
We are introduced to Noah Flynn (Jacob Elordi) Lee's older brother on the first day of school when a wandering hand finds its way onto Elle's unfortunate bottom and Noah decides to open up a can of whoop ass on the unsuspecting jock. We soon come to realize that Noah is praised as the trouble maker of the two as he is always getting into fights.

Elle realizes that her crush on Noah is getting a bit out of hand but tries her best to keep to her best friends rules, but all bets are off when Noah shows up at the kissing booth that Elle is working at and decides to kiss her in classic romance style which makes all the girls do that weird screech thing that they do.
Throughout the rest of the movie, we watch as Noah and Elle try their level best to keep their relationship secret from Lee until one fateful day which changes everything.
Lee and Elle friendship falls into disarray which causes the classic romance fall out as well until somebody works up the guts to help.
This movie is a classic rom-com for the new generation and really shows you what friendship can mean when it is unconditional.
Thanks for reading xx
