The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is a Netflix original series that spins off from Riverdale and got a 7.6/10 on IMDB and a 84% on Rotten Tomatoes. The series began in 2018 and it's fans are awaiting the fourth and final season which was announced in July of this year, it falls under the Horror/Occult fiction genres and honestly gives me the creeps.

The first season was largely about Sabrina's(Kiernan Shipka) decision to become a witch and join her family or to stay as a half mortal along with her friends.
She spends most of the season trying to avoid the Weird Sisters, a trio of witches who run the school for the 'gifted' in Greendale, who criticize her for being half mortal and half witch and often terrorize her in any way that they find mildly amusing. The leader of this trio is Prudence (Tati Gabrielle) and she is basically Lord Blackwood's(Richard Coyle) right hand as she does anything that he doesn't want to do, namely all the dirty work.

While Sabrina is struggling to make this choice before her sixteenth birthday, the darker forces that are plot against her and her family and she must choose a familiar to protect her and make her stronger. Her aunties, Zelda (Miranda Otto) and Hilda (Lucy Davis) urge her to choose wisely as well as make the correct decision regarding her 'dark baptism'.
Her friends are in danger, weather they know it or not, and Sabrina has to protect them as well while Lilith (Michelle Gomez) infiltrates the high school in order to keep an eye on Sabrina and possibly sway her towards the dark side, however nobody can force her as she was baptized as a child by her mortal mother, in order to protect her choice of becoming a witch.
This series is unbelievably creepy but it has amazing acting that really makes you feel their fear and their sense of urgency.
I love the wardrobe and it is a refreshing twist on the old comic books that I used to read about Sabrina. If I had to make a guess, I would say that this series caters to every little girl who used to read those comics who is now an adult and loves the chilling adventures that Sabrina had.
Thanks for reading xx
