This is one of my new favorite romance stories, I love what it teaches about not judging others before you know the whole story.

Flipped was released in 2010, it was co-written and directed by Rob Reiner, it got a 7.7/10 on IMDB and a 54% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The film is based in 1957-1961 and begins when Bryce (Callan McAuliffe) and his family move into the house across the street from Juli -Julianna- Baker (Madeline Carroll).

The movie is told from both Juli and Bryce's point of view and we begin with Bryce as he describes how horrible it was to have Juli like him and how he tried his best to avoid her at every turn, we are then taken back in time to when Juli first saw him and how she felt that he was to be her very first kiss and that she did everything in her power to make it so.

Through the years they have their ups and downs but the real story begins when the city chops down Juli's beloved sycamore tree and Bryce refuses to help her save it. The loss of this tree is devastating to poor Juli and it really made me feel for her, the way she loved that simple thing just because it showed her the world from a beautiful angle that nobody else saw.

Throughout the movie we are treated to the different point of views as well as insight into each persons family and households.

Juli has a loving family that struggles to live because of her uncle who is being cared for in an institute due to some brain damage which he suffered from since birth, this causes them to not worry too much about their yard or have any extra money for their children which really bothers Bryce's father who thinks that their yard is a reflection on their morals and doesn't take kindly when his father in law corrects him.

In the end the story isn't just about Juli and Bryce but also about how love needs to fight to survive in a world where there are conflicting forces around it.

The plot and acting was amazing and I really liked the way that the different families were portrayed.

I adore this beautiful movie and the way that they showed audiences that we can never know what someone else is going through and that we should always be kind to them because of that.

All in all, this movie was a winner.
