Warning: Spoilers
I just watched this insanely good and yet terrible movie.
Final girl was released in 2015 as a thriller/action and gained a beautiful 31% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 4.7/10 on IMDB.
Now if that's all you came for then go on, get out of here, but if you wanna hear more about this movie that I actually enjoyed then by all means stick around.

The movie is centered around Veronica (Abigail Breslin) who is trained from a young age to be an assassin by William (Wes Bentley) that we don't get much back story on beyond the fact that his wife and child were murdered.
Once Veronica is ready William takes her to meet her soon to be victims.
Jameson (Alexander Ludwig) immediately zooms in on her because of the blond hair, a signature to the boy groups victims, and invites her to go out with him and his friends.
The group of boys consisting of Danny (Logan Huffman), Shane (Cameron Bright), and Nelson (Reece Thompson) take Veronica out into a remote part of the woods and proceed to terrify her before revealing that they plan to hunt and kill her.
Of course they don't know that she's trained in murder and that works out pretty badly for most of them.

The plot in general was pretty bad, considering that we got almost no back story on any of the characters, there were somehow four sociopaths in one town (Highly unlikely, at least I hope so) and a sixteen/seventeen year old girl somehow over powered four mostly grown men, but hey, who am I to judge.
I must say, even though the movie's plot was very flawed, the actors and actresses were very convincing and I enjoyed the action scenes quite a lot. One of the problems might be that it came out at the same time as another movie called The Final Girls, which also features Alexander Ludwig and got much better ratings overall.
Either way, best/worst movie I have ever watched.
Thanks for reading xx
