I absolutely adored this book!

A Court of Mist and Fury is the second installation of the wildly successful Prythian Court series by Sarah J. Maas, it was first published in May of 2016 by Bloomsbury and has received a 4.6/5 on Goodreads, I gave it a 5/5.

I don't want to give away any spoilers so please excuse me if this is a bit short.

I loved this novel so much that I finished it in less than 24 hours, I slept a total of 4 hours in two days and I just couldn't get enough.

The story begins where A Court of Thorns and Roses left off, with Feyre being immortal and struggling to deal with what she had done Under the Mountain in order to save Tamlin.

Tamlin is greatly concerned with her safety but not much with letting her outside, which she obviously detests if you know Feyre at all.

After 3 months Rhysand still hasn't come to make good on his and Feyre's bargain but swoops in at a vital moment, which irritates Tamlin to no end, before he takes Feyre back to the Night Court where she must stay with him for a week.

Feyre begins to see that Rhysand isn't as terrible as he seemed and as the story progresses she realizes that Tamlin is so concerned with her safety that he would rather lock her up in her own house than to let her outside where she might get hurt.

After this Feyre is rescued by Morrigon, or Mor who is Rhysand's cousin, and they go back to the Night Court where Feyre decides to stay based on what Tamlin did, trapping her which was her worst nightmare after the dark and cramped spaces Under the Mountain.

I can't say any more without ruining the good parts but I can say that I would recommend this book to any of my friends in a heart beat and I would be surprised if they didn't love it.

SJM is a gift to her fans and an incredible author, may she write many more novels on Feyre and the courts of Prythian.

Thanks for reading xx
