This list has nothing to do with survival, only with enjoyment and it is completely my own opinion so feel free to substitute some of the points to fit your own sense of enjoyment.

1: Epic Playlists

I am a huge fan of singing along as loud as you can whether you know the words or not.

I will sing along to pretty much anything that I know the words to and I think it sometimes annoys the people that I drive with but the best part of singing along is that if you do it to have fun then you don't really care what others think about your voice or tone or when you miss a word here and there. It is pure happiness that falls from your lips.

2: Scrumptious Snacks

My second favorite part of a road trip is the abundance of snacks that you can totally eat and not worry about because road trip snacks do not count.

My favorites are crisps, sour straws and jelly sweets of all shapes and colors.

To be fair, I usually eat too many sweets when driving but as I previously stated, the road trip calories do not count. Ever.

3: A Crackerjack Driving Companion

I am not often the driver on long road trips so this person is usually concentrating on the road while I sing and hand them snacks.

Seeing that I adore road trips and everything about them a good driver is needed for me to enjoy it more so that I don't need to worry about the road or if I'm singing too loud.

My favorite driving companions so far are my boyfriend and my sister, both of which seem to find me eccentricities endearing instead of annoying.

4: Comfy Clothes

When you're going on a super long drive you don't want to have to hold your stomach in or have a rhinestone digging into your butt.

I like wearing loose jeans and printed shirts with flip-flops so that I can take them off the minute I'm in the car.

5: BOOKS!

Whenever I drive with more than one person or if I'm sitting in the back, I like to bring a book with so that I can read on the way. I don't often do this because I have a child-like wonder of everything that we drive past and I am usually too scared to look away for the fear of missing something incredible but sometimes I read when I know I won't be seeing anything new.

I hope you liked my list, feel free to comment and tell me how silly I am.

I appreciate criticism that I can ignore.

Thanks for reading xx
