Anxiety vs. Calm

During this time of unrest in our world we are all suffering a bit, especially with our mental health.
I don't know about everyone else but I can say that I have always struggled with my mental health in a way. I get into grooves of unhappiness and I sometimes struggle to get out of them. Usually all I need to claw my way back out is to talk to a friend or revamp my room but sometimes it just isn't that easy.
I know that there are a lot of people who are slipping into depression since COVID-19 has been a real threat to our lifestyles, our families and our economies. I would just like to remind everyone that this will not last forever.
Yes, there is going to be grief and there is going to be struggle, financially and emotionally but we can get through this if we do it together.
It may be dark now but it cannot rain forever. -Anonymous
Basically what I'm saying is that we all need to be there for each other. We cannot afford to be absent anymore, from our own lives or from others. Just like every super hero movie has taught us, when we stand together we are stronger than we ever would have been if we stood alone.

I am asking that each and every one of you look out for one person. Just one. If we can change just one persons life at a time, then we can change all of them. It doesn't need to be a huge gesture. It can be a short message, a tag on Instagram or even an invite to have coffee after this nightmare is over.
The little things bring us comfort and they are the things that will be remembered when we cannot remember how to crawl out of that hole, they are the things that will make a difference.
Thanks for reading xx
