I'm sure everybody has already heard of this game, I have only played it a few times but I absolutely love it.
My friends and I all bought this at the same time but I have played a measly 9 and a half hours where as a few of them have played almost an entire day already.
It is extremely addictive (In a good way) and a very fun way to play online with friends.

Among us was first released in June 2018 but has recently been brought to everyone's attention by the hype up of the second game, not to mention that it is now on sale and we all bought it for less than R100.
The game has a 10/10 on Steam and a 4.5/5 on Google Play, that should tell you enough about it but since I do over explain everything, I'm going to tell you more.
I am a terrible liar.
Horrible in fact but somehow I am getting much better due to this game.

The point of the game is to win.
That sounds oversimplified but it really is that simple.
There are a set number of players and one or more of them are imposters who try to kill everyone without being caught while the crew mates run around trying to complete their tasks before they all die.
The imposters name appears in red (Only to them and other imposters) and they have the option to sabotage the ship as well as use vents to get from one room to another without the other crew mates seeing them.
The normal players can only run from one place to another and they have to complete all of their tasks in order to defeat the imposter (s)
If you are a crew mate and you are killed, you can still complete tasks but you are not able to stop the sabotages that the imposters induce.

We usually play with around 6-10 players and there are between one and two imposters.
The novelty of the game is watching everybody argue about who might be an imposter.
The running joke in our friend group is that my one friend, Jarid, accuses me of being 'sus' every single game.
Seriously, every single game.
The only time so far which he hasn't accused me of being the imposter is when we were imposters together.
Now as you can imagine this can be super frustrating, especially if the real killer agrees with him and I end up being kicked off of the ship for nothing but luckily this isn't a super serious game and we can all take a bit of ribbing.

Honestly, I don't play if I'm in a bad mood as I have a rather short temper and I would rather not ruin everyone's fun by screaming at him for accusing me, especially when I know it's just a joke.
The most disconcerting part of this game is realizing how good your friends are at lying.
My boyfriend legit killed me first in one round and then accused somebody else without even a waver in his voice. I was rather impressed.
Honestly, I could go on and on because I love this game and I would definitely recommend it to all friend groups that I know, may the odds be ever in your favor.
Thanks for reading xx
